Abstract

Introducing "HYDROKORO," a compact hydroponic designed to address the spatial constraints of urban homes and the financial challenges associated with purchasing fresh vegetables. This project focuses on creating a modern and space-efficient hydroponic system tailored specifically for kitchens in urban areas with limited space. The design objective is to provide a user-friendly, low-maintenance, and aesthetically pleasing solution that seamlessly integrates into the kitchen environment. The identified problems of insufficient space for home planting and the high cost of vegetables in certain urban areas have prompted the development of HYDROKORO. Targeting families as the primary users and urban housing areas as the market, this hydroponic system aims to empower households to grow their vegetables affordably and sustainably. By bringing cultivation into the heart of urban living spaces, HYDROKORO not only addresses practical challenges but also contributes to a healthier and more self-sufficient lifestyle. Through its thoughtful design criteria, HYDROKORO endeavors to bridge the gap between limited space and the desire for fresh, home-grown produce in urban homes.
