Abstract
This course introduces silviculture terminology, concepts and their application. Malaysian lowland forest will be highlighted. Silvicultural prescriptions are covered in establishing forest stands, manipulating species composition, enhancing stand growth and health to meet a variety of environmental, societal and economic objectives.
