Abstract

Besides being one of the fastest-growing outdoor activities, kayaking is also a useful skill for biodiversity managers and researchers. Understanding the theories and successfully practice the kayaking skills will be an advantage for biodiversity managers and researchers. This course will prepare the student with knowledge of kayaking step by step. By the end of the semester, students are able to demonstrate safely skills required in three common kayaking types: sea, river and white water.
