BTP350: Planning project VI / College of Built Environment

The course deals with the process and procedures in the preparation of a Local Plan within the context of the development plan system as stipulated in the Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172), and the Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Act 2001 (Act A1129), the current manual, rules and guidelines. Students are required to prepare a Local Plan of a selected district based on a State Structure Plan. The duration of each study shall not exceed one semester. The Local Plan will consist of map(s) together with other diagrams and illustrations where necessary and a written statement. The assignment involves in the syllabus content.
