ALT713: Application of Technology Tools in E-Language Production / Academy of Language Studies

This course is created as an INDEPENDENT STUDY track. The course aims to produce students who will seek knowledge and skills independently with minimum coaching from the instructor. The lecturer acts as a facilitator whose task is to guide students at seeking probable solutions to technology challenges imposed. Students will also personally develop hands-on knowledge and skills on various current technology tools applicable to language production. Students will also be facilitated to produce original and creative mobile media production that can be used in e-language learning. Graphic applications, animation tools, audio software and video software will be used for the production of digital media clips, applets, and/or widgets. The students will also be able to evaluate and discuss issues and challenges in using various computer tools for language production.
