Abstract

An introductory course on farm management that lays emphasis on the three basic functions of management - planning, implementation and control. It provides explanations on the roles and functions of management, cost concepts and basic economic principles and how these concepts and principles are used in decision making. To provide an overall coverage on farm management, topics such as management of productive resources, farm record keeping and accounts and their uses in planning and controlling and investment analysis are included.
