Abstract
There is now many studied make by previous researcher regarding retirement savings behavior among workers individual. As we know, retirement saving behavior is very important to ensure that all working Malaysian citizens have knowledge about the retirement scheme. Many retirement scheme provided at Malaysia but yet there still many people lack of their awareness due to several factors. Therefore, this research is aims to investigate whether goal clarity, social interaction, self-control and financial literacy have significant influence on the retirement saving behavior. Primary data are collected using self-administered questionnaire. The samples comprised 203 workers from PETRONAS staff in KLCC. Meanwhile, Reliability Test, Frequency Analysis, Pearson Correlations and Descriptive Analysis are used to identify whether the four factors have relationship with the retirement saving behavior among PETRONAS staff in KLCC. The researchers have come out with conclusions of findings and few recommendations to be taken into consideration. By implementing these recommendations, it provides insights to the public about the importance of having retirement planning.
