Abstract
Nowadays, there is a lot of bankruptcy cases happened in the whole countries and they have become widespread. The bankruptcy will lead to a serious problem for the governments and its countries. Thus, since Malaysia's are rising bankruptcy trend. It will effectively become a stumbling block for Malaysia to become a "high-income country" in 2020. The purposes of this study are to investigate the impact of house price index, lending or interest rate and unemployment rate towards number of bankruptcies in Malaysia. This study used 32 quarterly data for observations which is from quarter 1(2011) until quarter 4 (2018). The method of this study is Multiple Linear Regressions. This study used E-Views software in order to run all the data collected to test and analyses the results for discussions. In this study, the results show that just two independent variables are significant while one independent variable is insignificant.
