Abstract

Tourism is one of the industries that bring profit to a country. For tourism business to success, it usually determined by tourism planning, development research and marketing. Thus, the implementations of GIS application become one of the reasons why the tourism industry booming in this era. The advance of technology in IT which latter help the development of GIS technology which will help provide exceptional options and chances to establish modern tourism application. GIS application is used to a database that caters the need of user. In tourism, for example, the layers of spatial and non-spatial data were created based on the selected area. Furthermore, with evolution happening with mobile phones, more things can be done with just a touch. To which led to this study aim, to develop a mobile application for Perlis state park, Kelam cave and Bukit Ayer recreational forest. To achieve this aim, Android Studio and Google Map will be used to create a database and coding for the mobile app respectively.
