A collaborative teaching session was conducted for the course Cafe Service Operation's (HTP283)with the Interim Director of Food & Beverage from Mandarin Oriental in Doha, Qatar. The session covered essential F&B service skills, the leadership and communication traits that a Cafe Supervisor should possess. Participants included students from UiTM and Kolej Vokasional Sepang. The session provided valuable insights into the coffee bean making procedures in the hotel industry, the importance of supporting local suppliers. Witnessing the passion and dedication of the local coffee bean supplier was truly enlightening, as delving into the coffee-making process and the unique characteristics of Dubai's coffee beans, the Wings Collection, discovered the crucial aspect of the F&B service industry –“sourcing coffee beans”.
