FES300 : Pattern: diploma portfolio / College of Creative Arts

The course covers every aspect of pattern and technical skills relevant to diploma final projects requirements including toile development, fitting prototypes, evaluate cost and garment assembly procedure. Students will be able to organize and translate their technical drawing or ‘flats’ into 3D prototypes using flat pattern or draping technique. Producing a fashion design collection is not complete without an understanding the process of garment making from pattern development into cutting, sewing and finishing. It portrays the qualities and skills needed to broaden career opportunities in the clothing industries.
