Abstract

Development of mobile application based on android platform is one of the most popular technologies today. Every person nowadays has their own mobile application because it is very easy to carry and many thing we can do just using mobile device. Due to this phenomena the idea of development of Mobile Application for UiTM Shah Alam Bus Scheduling is derived because most of student have their own mobile device or smart phone and most of student using bus campus to attend the class. An interview has been conduct with students in this campus to identify the current problem student faced regarding bus services in UiTM Shah Alam and from that the objective for this research also identified. Based on the interview, student needs to wait for the bus without knowing the availability of the bus and usually bus is not on time. This mobile application will help UiTM Shah Alam students to get their bus and know the estimate arrival time for the next available bus to reach to their destination. Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC) is the suitable methodology to develop this mobile application. Development of UiTM Shah Alam Bus Scheduling provides the better bus campus services for the students by just using their mobile device to search and get their bus without missed it.
