Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors that affecting housing price in Malaysia. This study is conducted by using Multiple Linear Regression Model in order to identify the significant relationship between dependent and independent variables. In this study, the researcher used three independent variables that affect housing price in Malaysia where housing price as our dependent variable while gross domestic variable, inflation rate and interest rate as our independent variables. The study is been done over seven years of period from year 2007 until year 2014. Based on the findings obtained, it shows that there is positive relationship between housing prices with gross domestic product and inflation rate and there is negative relationship between housing price and interest rate.
