Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to identify the saving behaviour of UiTM Malacca City Campus students. This study was undertaken by researcher to identify the saving of behaviour among student in their future. The factors involved are financial literacy, parental socialization, friends influence and self-control towards saving behaviour. Primary data was used in the study using questionnaire. 100 questionnaires were distributed to respondents among the UiTM Malacca City Campus students and questionnaires managed to be collected and were analyzed using SPSS version 20. The Pearson Correlation was used to find the significant relationship between those variables. From all findings, all independent variables (financial literacy, parental socialization, friend influence and self-control) have significant result towards dependent variable (saving behaviour) and can be used in making prediction in this study.
