Abstract
This course concentrates on creating ceramic mobile products by using different ceramic materials such as clay, stoneware and porcelain. Students are able to explore the hand built, press mould and slip casting techniques in fabricating the products with applying decoration and mixed media. Additionally, study on contemporary design based on ceramic mobile is needed for market trends. Research and design development are required to guide the student in creating ceramic mobile design. Weekly sketchbook assignments are a course requirement.
