Industrial training report: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak / Emmyleya Kayan

During my practical training at Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri, I got many valuable experienced and learned different things from the staff. I have learn to improve my communication skills when attend to meet user needs at the counter. Besides that, I also teamed on how to do a technical part at the Technical Service Department, All the listing, receiving, processing item, cataloguing and acquisition process are what we have teamed and experienced to understand the whole process of TS division. Meanwhile, involving in community services activity such as Outreach programme, PANDEi program, literacy program and talk organized by Pustaka had exposed myself to the new working environment. Basically, from my observation for the whole five months, Pustaka had done so much activities that purpose was to educate their community and reach their citizen even at the rural area.
