Abstract

This report focuses on the utilisation of Facebook as a social media platform for online marketing by Maryam Khadijah Scarves, a partnership business managed by Fathimah Az-Zahraa' and Nur Alissa Ilyana located in Bandar Puncak Alam Selangor. The business employ techniques such as teaser campaigns and persuasive writing (including hard sell and soft sell approaches) to attract attention from potential customers. The primary objective of Maryam Khadijah Scarves is to provide inspiration and sophistication to Malaysian women who prefer large hijabs. Correspondingly, the company aims to offer affordable yet comfortable scarves that cater to busy career women who are constantly on the go. As such, these hijabs require minimal ironing and come in a wide range of colors and designs to accommodate diverse preferences.
