Receipts are essential documents that must be kept as proof of a purchase. A person must keep in order to claim tax relief on a recurring basis. Keeping receipts for tax relief purposes is important and essential for Malaysian taxpayers. This is because the application process for tax relief is becoming modern, which application of tax-relief through online system via the web. However, taxpayers frequently encounter issues with storage methods, paper receipts that do not last long, and receipt loss. In addition, it is possible that receipts will be lost due to the need to store an excessive number of receipts at once. As a result, they have difficulties to find the necessary receipts, which complicates the process to file for tax relief. Therefore, we have proposed the ReceiptMe application, which allows users to store their receipts directly on their mobile device. ReceiptMe helps organize receipts in a single location. When users need to locate receipts for expense tracking, or tax purposes, the process is simplified. Additionally, people can access their receipt from any location at any time. We believed it was advantageous because individuals will no longer need to store their receipts manually. This application makes storing receipts easier, more organized, and more secure. Before proceed with this application, we conducted an online survey to collect information about the financial issues the community faces on a daily basis. It is hoped that ReceiptMe can provide a sustainable and efficient solution for receipt management, benefiting society through reduced environmental impact and enhanced financial management. Consequently, ReceiptMe is regarded as a significant innovation for facilitating management and storage, and it may be incorporated as software that is directly linked to the tax exemption application system. This sophisticated and easy-to-use application can provide numerous parties with tax relief management convenience and relief.
