Abstract

The NILAM program had been introduced by Ministry of Education, Malaysia that aim to encouraged reading habits among students at primary school and secondary school. The aim of our study was to determined the factors association with students reading habit through NILAM program implementation in school at SMK Badin, Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The factors association with the students reading habits included the material, student awareness and people encouragement. The sample size for the purpose of this research are 100 respondents was selected randomly at SMK Badin, Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The data collection instrument for this research was done through questionnaires.
