Abstract
This course concentrates on basic clay forming technique by using pottery wheel. It focused on studio knowledge and practical experience in working with clay materials. This course will challenging students to explore new directions, like forming clay by using pottery wheel, altering forms, advanced surface treatments, and construction of more complex forms. At the end of this course, students will observe on developing sensitivity on variety of clay characteristics, also exploring the medium through basic wheel thrown techniques.
