Job EXPOsure for insurance industry / Joeaiza Juhari … [et al.]

The insurance industry is one of the most competitive industries in Malaysia. Nevertheless, despite its growth, the general public especially prospective students and their parents are still sceptical of the job offered upon completion of their studies. UiTM through its business faculty has offered insurance as one programme under its flagship; however, there is no better mechanism to develop tools to enhance knowledge and understanding of prospective job opportunity in insurance industry. This project is developed mainly as an eye opener to prospective students and parents in UiTM about the insurance industry. The misconception of insurance's field often arises due to the lack of knowledge and understanding the field has to offer. This is portrayed by the decreasing number of students enrolling the insurance programme especially in UiTM Melaka. Therefore, the manual is deemed important as a tool to constructively educate the prospective students and parents as well as to provide platform for them to explore job opportunity in the insurance industry.
