Abstract
This course is designed to introduce the theory of contrastive analysis which is the systematic study of a language and its relation to error analysis. Students are taught to compare the linguistic elements of the three languages. The course illustrates the effectiveness of contrastive analysis and error analysis in the students’ learning process.
