Abstract
This course focuses on the usage of Arabic dictionaries. It includes the use of both classical and modern Arabic dictionaries. Students will be exposed to different types of dictionaries and the principles of assembling and arrangement of words. This course details the ways of giving meaning to words in their various uses in dictionaries, glossaries, encyclopedias and others. Students are trained to use Arabic dictionaries the with the correct and systematic method.
