Abstract
This course will focus on framework for understanding ethical standards, legal aspect and professional issues involved such as counselor’s values and life experience and how it affect the therapeutic process, the right and responsibilities of counselor and client, level of competence, quality of services for culturally diverse population. The subject will also emphasize on legal aspect in Malaysia, major ethical concerned and relevant issues that are related to a special setting of counseling relationships.
