UiTM, College of Creative Arts ADE479 - Chromatic Compositing / College of Creative Arts. [Teaching Resource]

Abstract

Chromatic compositing also referred to as ‘Chroma Key Compositing’ or ‘Chroma Keying’, is an essential part of visual effects and digital compositing. It is a process by which a specific colour is removed from an image, allowing that portion of the image to be replaced. This colour can be any solid colour, most commonly blue or green. Chromatic compositing plays a key role in visual effects by combining all various elements and blends them together artistically into a seamless, photorealistic whole.
