Abstract

At the end of 2019, an outbreak of the disease was identified in Malaysia, known as CoronaVirus (COVID19). Malaysia has been labelled one of the countries that recorded the most cases in the world. Almost 99% of vaccines have been given to all Malaysians and 1 % are anti-vaccination groups. HOKEN is a product for cutlery which is one that can sterilize and provide an automatic sanitizer named as Haken which means hygiene in Japanese. So that hygiene in the restaurant that people always take for granted is especially the un-sterilized and un-sanitized cutlery that can spread the virus through contact can be prevented through Haken. Haken is one of the product dispensers that can maintain cleanliness to the cutlery and at the same time be able to sanitize customers through automatic sanitizer. Ho ken also has an interesting design which is Japanese minimalist-themed which can attract customers to use it and is easy to place at every dining table. Haken has also been specially created for 4 sets of cutlery so as to maintain its cleanliness and also maintain social distancing between customers. By creating Ho ken, designer can be equally able to maintain good hygiene and health for future generations to avoid the disease epidemic. Once in a while, it can reduce the risk of covid19 virus. Besides that, Haken can also help the restaurant do the cutlery cleaning work so it can also save time.
