Abstract

Hudud and lslamophobia are two big issues that could give a big impact to all the Muslim worldwide. Hudud means punishment prescribed by Allah in the Quran and Hadith. It is forbidden to change, increasing or reducing it and lslamophobia is an unfounded hostility towards Muslims, and therefore fear or dislike of all or most Muslims because of certain issues that people can see that Islam is cruel.
The researcher is focusing on the impact of Hudud issue towards readers who read about Hudud and journalism and people opinion if Hudud Law can or cannot be implemented and it beneficial. The research objectives for this study are:
• To analyze the impact of journalism towards Hudud issue.
• To find out the readers reaction towards Hudud issue based on the articles that they read from the news.
• To study the readers opinion about the future of our country if the Hudud law implemented.
These researchers are using in-depth interview that requires a number of people which are suitable for this research. Researcher will ask them question regarding this topic since the researcher target audience are 4 people with age range from 21 to 60 years old. The interviewee will be chosen based on their educational, intellectual and their understanding about the topic of the research. People that researcher going to interview for these researches are:
• Communication and Media (MassComm) Students
• Centre of Independent Journalism
• Journalist and specialist writer
Based on this study, the researcher can get an expectation from many sides example every people have their own opinion should or shouldn't Hudud Law will be implemented in Malaysia future. Plus, non-Muslim are not used with the Law of Hudud and they hard to give their opinion regarding this issue rather than Muslim who are basically know about Hudud.
