The reason for acquisition by Mayhan Fortis towards MNI Holdings: To strengthen the Maybank Insurance Group's (MIG) local insurance position. By Merger and Acquisition, it provides Mayhan Fortis opportunities to exploit the organization's core competence in the new area.
