The fear toward Islam: islamophobia from student's perspective / Mohd Faez Ariff ... [et al.]

9/11 tragedy bring a negative impact towards Muslim worldwide that caused to lslamophobia. What mostly people known about 9/11 is this tragedy happen on September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. This is caused to lslamophobia which means fear or phobia to Islam. The researchers is focusing on the lslamophobia, the fear towards Islam after the 9/11 incident. The researchers' objectives for this study are:
• RO1 - To study the lslamophobia content in online news that can affect the
Malaysian student thinking to negative side.
• RO2 - To identify the content of lslamophobia in online news that can influence
the Malaysian student thinking.
• RO3 - To discuss the solution to reduce the influences of lslamophobia in
online news.
These researchers are using in-depth interview that requires a number of professional which expert in this field and suitable to answer the question given. Researchers will ask them question regarding this topic since the researchers target audience are 4 person with age range from 20 to 50 years old. The interviewee will be chosen based on their educational, intellectual and their understanding about the topic of the research. People that researchers going to interview for this research are:
• Communication and Media Studies (Masscomm) Students-20-21 years old
• Head Of Copy I Traffic Media and Book Department (Utusan Media)
• Freelance Journalist
Based on this study, the researcher can get an expectation from many sides for example every level of generation will have their own opinion regarding this issue.
