Abstract

The world of finance has grown at an exponential rate in the modern period. However, in certain cultures, the issue of usury is still considered to be a relatively minor concern. In an ideal world, when a country advances, the society inside it should also evolve in the same direction. If nothing is done to address the usury problem in the country's banking system, the problem will continue to fester and become entrenched. If riba is present in a Muslim's daily financial portion, then Allah has cursed the income because it contains items that Allah has forbidden. Riba is an adversary of Muslims since it is a source of money that contains items that Allah has forbidden. A study on usury awareness among small IKS entrepreneurs in Batang Tiga, Melaka, was proposed as a result of this inspiration. The goal of this study is to determine whether or not these entrepreneurs understand and are aware of the risks associated with usury in their businesses, among other things. For the purpose of completing and obtaining findings for this survey, researchers interviewed a total of five respondents. As a result, the researcher hopes to be able to effectively achieve the objectives of the study.
