The factors that influence the graduates to become an entrepreneur among UiTM Seremban 3 students / Nur Ilyana Abu Bakar and Siti Hajar Ahmad Kamel

The purpose of this research is to study the factors that influence the students to become an entrepreneur after they graduate. Previous research found that entrepreneurship has been the lowest career choice among the fresh graduates. Quantitative method was used in this study involving the UiTM Seremban 3 students. Based on this research, there are four factors that influence the UiTM Seremban 3 students to become an entrepreneur after they graduate which are age, personal traits, entrepreneurship education and family background. Besides, this study would be able to determine the student's level of interest in becoming entrepreneurs after they graduate. The result of this study shows that all the factors that have been mentioned earlier have the significant relationship that influence the students to become an entrepreneur after graduation. Other than that, UiTM Seremban 3 students also show a high level of interest in becoming entrepreneurs after graduate. It is hoped that the knowledge gleaned from the findings of this study will help future researchers to understand better the aspects that influence students to become an entrepreneur in the future.
