Abstract
Students would be introduced to the concepts of Development Economics, terms and terminologies, and the overall overview in the process of development in Malaysia. Emphasis will be given on the need of Cost Control in Building Design during the various stages of a development. Cost planning and cost modelling will be introduced. Their attention is drawn to the importance of various types of feasibility studies in relation to Development Economics. Students will also be exposed to various types of Project Financing in the private sector.
