DUO'S: portable sterilizer and paper picker / Nur Asyifa Yuhezri

We all know that some public examinations such as SPM, STPM, MUET are still been held face to face even in a world facing pandemic. This examination is important for a student to pursue higher level of studies. However, students and examination officer had to face various SOPs before and after examination takes place. Before starting the examination, students or exam officer are required to clean the table using a wet tissue, sometimes causing the question paper to be a little wet because the table is not completely dry. Officers sometimes need to wear gloves or sanitize or wash their hands when touching what does not belong to them. Wearing a disposable glove may increase a lot of waste that may not good for environment. While do sanitizer and hand washing may takes time for the hand to get dry. For Students who sanitized their hands but did not sanitize their equipment were concerned that there were a bacteria and viruses on the surface of the paper that they touch. DOU'S is a multifunction product that been design for examination officer to help them collect the answer paper in public examination during post pandemic. This is why DOU'S was created, its function is to reduce direct contact or exchanging item between officer and student. It has a two function, a UV light sterilizer and also a clamp to collect the answer paper. UV light sterilizer functions to be able to remove bacteria and viruses, especially on surfaces that cannot be washed or exposed to liquids. This product is light and portable. It is also rechargeable and easy to use. It can be used by officer during the examination day when working on collecting student answer papers. In addition, it can also be used by teachers for daily activities at school such as for sanitation of learning equipment in the classroom before teaching or the sanitation of student equipment and student desks.
