Abstract
This course will introduce students to the basic ethno medicine concept and some basic theories that cover the use of herbs, the collection of ethnic information on the approach and practice of local medicinal herbs based on indigenous knowledge, identification of herbs in terms of their botanical features, critical evaluation and sources of information on the evidence for the medicinal/ healthcare use of herbs.
