Abstract

Public buildings is used in this country as an office for government department, it also is a place for public people to do their daily affairs. This requires careful attention to maintenance works and integration of uses. Some of these public building also have a historical background so it's very important to keep this building functional well. All the maintenance for public buildings is the responbilities of the JKR. Too many of the public building makes JKR handle it to the out-source contractor. The party involved to manage the public building must consist of good quality control or high standard either in future development and maintenance work. In short, this dissertation will study the Maintenance Management Services on Planning, organization and out-sourcing, besides that, author wants to know occupant satisfaction of the building in each case study in terms of maintenance. The author seeks on rationale solution and recommendation regarding maintenance services for public buildings.
