Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the factors on an increasing number of elders in elderly nursing home. Different reason can be the cause people sending their elders to elderly nursing. The study focus on the factor that may cause people from different social background taking the same resolution in sending their elders to elderly nursing home. As we know, taking care of elders requires a lot of work and may affect our daily life, although that is not the only factor why people in Bandar Ipoh often sending their elders in elderly nursing home. Regarding in this research, there are several other such as healthcare factor, monetary factor, personal obligation and personal limitation. However, regardless of the factor, it is crucial for the responsible party to provide the necessary services for the elders.
