Abstract

Certification of buildings is one of the conditions set by the government to ensure that they comply with required standards. This was taken to preserve the interests of all parties concerned, particularly the buyers. The government implemented a new building certification system in order to improve public service delivery without ignoring the needs of people involved. There is the new system known as Certificate Completion and Compliance (CCC) whereby the appointed professionals are known as Principle Submitting Person (PSP), which will issue the certificate for the building. The Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) is an important part of the property development process.
