Abstract

Basically, Affirmative Action refers to the protection of minorities and disable person in the nation or even in the place that is need this particular society are protected. In this research, Malaysia practice Affirmative Action is to protect the majorities in our country that is Bumiputera. The research is stress on the perception of the Affirmative Action from the UNITAR University that is one of the private University who had plural society that is mixed non-Bumiputera and Bumiputera. The questionnaire are distributed is only 100 respondents for this research. Mann-Whitney, reliability test and normality test are used to ensure the research run properly and based on research needs. The research is to see the perception of UNITAR students concerning the Affirmative Action practice in UiTM. The gender differences also taken into consideration in order to know which of the male or female more to support the policy or not. There are many method are used in this research in order to met the standardization of the research such as data analysis, measurement scale such as ordinal, nominal and ratio. The research are not really represent the UNITAR perception toward UiTM policy since the scope are too small and only one faculty chosen to distributed the questionnaire that is educational faculty.
