The awareness of customary land among rural folks in Kg Usaha Jaya, Bukit Garam, Kinabatangan / Nurain Asyikin Ibrahim and Siti Noor Hafizah Hamidin

The present study focusing on the assessment of awareness customary land among rural folk's in Kg. Usaha Jaya, Bukit Garam, Kinabatangan. The investigator used sample survey method for the study. The sample consists of 260 respondents from Kg Usaha Jaya. Simple random sampling technique has been used for the choice of sample. The investigator developed a questionnaire on assessment of awareness. The descriptive analysis like frequency analysis, descriptive statistical and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. This research will focus on level of awareness and the factors that influence of awareness on customary land among rural folks in Kg Usaha Jaya, Bukit Garam, and Kinabatangan. The major finding of the study reveals that rural folk's in Kg. Usaha Jaya, Kinabatangan have average level of awareness and the factors that give a bigger impact to the awareness of rural folks in Kg. Usaha Jaya, Bukit Garam, Kinabatangan is a policy and law. Besides that social environment is one of the other factors that gave a bigger impact towards the awareness of rural folks in Kg. Usaha Jaya, Bukit Garam Kinabatangan.
