Fire safety audit in religious school / Muhd Yusairi Shaaban Mohd Yusof

Most of buildings of religious schools in Malaysia provide adequate the fire safety equipment. According to the Fire Department and rescue statistics over 2009deaths and property loss that much school due to fire. Fires often occur in schools caused by negligence on the part of schools and lack of knowledge about the system of fire equipment. This study was done to identify to what extent consumers realize the importance of fire safety in schools and identify areas of consumer knowledge on fire in the school system. Focus of this study in religious schools selected randomly around Shah Alam and Klang which SIAS, SAMTTAJ, SRA,MIST and SAR. The school has been chosen as case study because the high number of users and the school is also a place that is often exposed to danger. Four(4) objectives of this study are (1) to define the type of fire audit and fire safety audits have been conducted than. (2) To understand the Implementation of fire safety audit in religious schools. (3) To identify how well aware Respondent with the importance of fire safety audit and (4) recommend the improvement measures for future effectiveness of fire. To achieve the fourth objective, the data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. Then the collected data were analyzed using percentage analysis methods. For the first and second objectives to define fire and type of audit fire safety and to understand the Implementation of fire safety audit in religious schools will be discussed in chapter 2. While the second objective was to identify how well Respondent aware of fire with the importance of the audit will be discussed in chapter 5. Finally, the fourth objective will be discussed in chapter 6 of the effectiveness recommend future measures for improvement of fire
