Abstract

Our product is IC Traqueur. This invention will introduce one system of Identification Card trackers. Basically, this tracker functions as the tracking device for the missing ID. However, it can be used for multiple purposes. As for example when there is a missing person we can use this tracking device to track the missing person. The chip in the existing ID can be tracked using the tracking device via satellite. The idea was mooted after reading about the problem of missing airplane of MH370 in March 2014. This chip can also be used in people and this will help in identifying a missing person. According to the police records, between 2008 and 2011, a total of 7, 662 people were reported missing nationwide of whom 3, 226 people were teenagers between 14 and 17 years old. The objective of identification card tracking devices is mainly to locate the lost identification card, pinpointed on a map of the tracking devices. Secondly, the authority can use the identification tracking devices to keep up with the whereabouts of a kidnapped person. Lastly, parents can supervise and monitor their children with the identification card tracking devices to know their where about. Benefits represents an advantage. There are a few benefits that we can get from our system project. One of the benefits that we can get from this system project is Malaysian people did not have to go through complicated procedures for the renewal of their identical card if they lost their identical card. Lastly, this system may reduce the problem of human trafficking if this system is used in Malaysia. Based on the information above, this device surely has the potential to be commercialized since it can be used by all Malaysians. Hence this can overcome some of the challenges in the Malaysian Vision 2020 goals to establish a scientific and progressive society and to create psychologically liberated, secure and developed Malaysian society.
