Abstract

Our product is 4 in 1 heatcook. This product is the innovation of water heater by adding other functions to the water heater. This product has two parts. The upper part is used for heating, cooking, boiling and steaming the food. The lower part of the water heater is used for boiling the water. We used aluminium foil to separate the water heater into two parts. So, this is how we got our product name. The cost to innovate this water heater is really affordable for students. Most students have their own water heaters. They just need to buy aluminium foil that only cost about six ringgit. Since the heater already exist, we just add the aluminium foil to the top of the water heater, so cost only involving the graphic design also color which incur cost below fifty ringgit. The type of food that can be cook, heat, boil and steam are instant noodles, canned food, egg, potatoes and processed. Students are not allowed to bring any other cooking appliances except the water heater. Students face difficulties during public holidays. Most of the cafes are closed during that time. So, students tend to skip their meals. It causes the students to lose focus on their studies. This may also cause them to get gastric if they continuously skip their meals. We also got the idea from our family members and relatives when we were went on holiday. We observed that they always brought pot to the hotel to cook some food. Some of the hotel do not provided cooking stove in the hotel room. They bring pots to cook their own food in order to save money, hotel food is expensive. Our solution for the students problem is, by innovating the multifunction water heater, they can make their own meals. They just need to buy or bring along aluminium foil with them. Our objectives for this project, firstly, to help people save their time. It is because most people such as students do not have the time to go outside to buy the food. Secondly, to help students saving money by not eating out. Thirdly, it can reduce the usage of electrics sources in residential college. We can prepare food and drink at the same time. Fourthly, it is to help students who do not go back to their hometowns as cafes are closed during semester break. Lastly, people can eat anywhere and anytime as long as the place has energy sources. Benefits from this products, firstly, it is environmental friendly. The using of aluminium foil is the best material to use because it can be reused or recycled. Secondly, it is also allows us to use the water heater in multiple ways. Lastly, it makes people life easier and faster.
