The study of comfortability of urban community parks environment a comparative study between two case studies: Taman Lembah Kiara Park and Universiti Teknologi Petronas Park / Al Azim Noor Azmi

Community parks play a vital role in the social life of urban communities. The purpose of this paper is to show the comfortability level towards the social behaviour and activities of the community during daytime in outdoor spaces exclusively in public urban community park Malaysia. However, literature reviews regarding daytime social behaviour and activities of urban community are limited. Improved understanding of relation between community activity and urban community park setting could be used to influence the development of public park design. The research focuses more on the comfortable level of the environment as is has interesting features and facilities that can cater the visitors. A comparison study is most suitable for this research. As by comparison, the findings would be accurate in indifferences, the disadvantages, the workability, and the various design of the community park environment. The community park should be maintained well by the management as it to keep the environment healthy, clean and in a good condition. The visitor would come to the park for a morning or evening as a retreat for them to get away from their busy working life. Nevertheless, it is very important to keep the community park environment in good condition so that the visitors will feel comfortable to come more often and could release their stressed minds in a peaceful manner.
