Abstract

This thesis presents a solution for economic emission load dispatch using shuffled frog leaping algorithm (SFLA). The proposed algorithm is developed using MATLAB programming. To test this algorithm, a standard IEEE 30-bus, six generator unit is used as the test system. The results obtained show that the proposed technique is able to solve the problem for the minimum generation cost and emission.
