Abstract

SKJRM Online is specially developed for Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Raja Muda, situated in Kampung Bharu, Kuala Lumpur, after taking into consideration the importance of websites to any organization nowadays. This project consists of six main modules which are Latarbelakang SKJRM, Berita/Buletin, Forum, Motivasi/Kaunseling, Permohonan Online, and Laman Pentadbir Web/Pendaftar SKJRM. The main objectives of this site are to offer faster and easier access to information about the school, to provide a means of discussion between parents and teachers, to provide an electronic application form, and to eliminate redundant data entry of the pupils' personal details into the database. This website is built using Javascript, VBScript, Active Server Pages (ASP), as well as Hypertext Mark-Up Language (HTML) and is implemented according to the Web Development Methodology, where all tasks are divided into several different phases, which are requirements definition, web design, coding and unit testing, web integration and testing, plus operations and maintenance.
