Form one online registration system in school website for Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah / Suzanurni Ahmad Sukri

This thesis presents a web-based online registration system development for Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Seksyen 2, Shah Alam (SMKSSAAS). The web site contains background of the school, SMKSSAAS bulletin board, album gallery, facilities, co-curriculum, online registration form and web administration interface. The main objective of this project is to provide a better service of quality for administration of SMKSSAAS, Sekolah Kebangsaan Seksyen 4 and Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) to easily register form one students for particular semester online and to eliminate redundant data entry of the student's personal detail into the database. Through this system students and parents also will be able to check their registration status online and view update information and latest news about the school. The system provides easier graphical interfaces, which can reduce mistakes while filling the form. It is expected that this system can reduce the time for administrative occurred in the registration process. PHP has been used as the programming language to develop the engine for this system while Macromedia Dreamweaver MX has been used design the interface.
