Abstract

Smart school is one of the seven flagships of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). Even though the smart school is successfully implemented, there are facing with the challenges. The study is conducted to determine the challenges during teaching and learning process. There are several challenges facing during teaching and learning process. The challenges that identified by interviews and questionnaires are insufficient IT infrastructure, lack of computers skill and difficult to change learning style. A total of 151 questionnaires were sent to the respondents and 146 sets of questionnaires were returned. Having identified and discussed all the challenges in Smart schools, possible actions have been suggested. It is hoped that once all the obstacles are overcome the goals of Smart Schools will be reality.
