Abstract

This dissertation was carried out to determine the types of acoustic finishes at recording studio. Boundary finishes at recording studio is necessary in ensuring a recording to perform to its functional and does not become an annoying noise to other building occupants and public. It is important for acoustic finishes to take place other than to prevent the noise from disturbing others but also to withstand other source of noise from disturbing the recording session. A recording studio must be protected from all sorts of noise and not to disturb others. Therefore, the system used to control noise is important in playing the role.
