Abstract

This project represents a method of detecting the leakage of gases especially to detect the presents of unwanted gases inside a vehicle. The flow of the project can be divided into two parts which are hardware and software development. On hardware development, gas sensor is used to sense the presents of unwanted gases inside a vehicle , buzzer will activate when the sensor detect a gas, and the LCD will display the output “gas detected”. And on software development, PIC 16F873A is used as controller for the circuit.
