Abstract

The practical students of Diploma in Building Surveying are supposed to undergo the practical training for about 4 months starting from 1st December 2014
until 1st April 2015. Since the practical students are able to choose their own practical training places, thus, I decide to practical at AMAS FM Consultant.
This Industrial Training is one of the requirements for all eligible, final semester, graduating students of University Technology MARA (UiTM) Diploma
Programs. The main objective of this practical training is to give students to exposure on a real challenging working world. Students will be able to apply the skills that they have obtained throughout their academic years. In addition, students can enhance their knowledge and abilities at the participating companies and develop the student’s intellectual, powers and ability in analyzing fact finding and investigation through relevant scientific and qualitative analysis. This internship is also a shared social obligation for both UiTM and the companies involved. UiTM practical students will assist institutions/organizations in handling appropriate jobs. At the same time, it also allows UiTM in identifying industries' current needs, hence fulfill them. Therefore, UiTM will be able to strengthen its curriculum and produce graduates who are market-ready.
